Getting There

Some travel options for your consideration

Flight into Stockholm

Capital city of Sweden and Klara’s hometown. Great museums and fika to jump start the celebrations. Driving to the wedding follows slightly better roads and takes you across classic Swedish countryside.

Flight into Oslo

With a major airport and tons to do and see, Oslo can be a great option as an entry point. Driving to the wedding location from here is possible or options are available to take a second flight to Røros or a train to smaller northern towns to see more of Norway.

The small mining town of Røros is on UNESCO’s world heritage list and offers a great chance to learn about Scandinavian history. For more information, visit https://www.visitnorway.se/resmal/trondelag/roros/

Flight into Gothenburg

Likely another connection needed, but come see the city we call home. The city of Volvo and a true coastal feeling with seafood as a focus. Driving to the wedding takes you past several ski areas and through beautiful forests.

Rental Car

Public transport is great within the cities but getting to the mountains is best with your own vehicle. The roads will be snowy so make sure a rental is properly equipped with studded tires.

Train or bus

Any city with a major airport will also have a well connected central station. From there it’s possible to travel to a smaller city further north, then rent a car from there to reduce the driving time.
